Jesus moved from the Jordan to the sea, met slaves and Roman masters. He rescued a slave and brought her to Nazareth where he stayed till early July.
May 30 to June 10, 29 AD Appx. Valtorta 5.420. They continued up stream in impossible heat. They bathed in the river and washed their garments. They were joined by the villagers who reported that Pharisees had distressed the cured demoniac. Jesus pointed out that God does not perturb and confuse people but Satan does. He restored calm to the former demoniac.
They travelled at night to Ennon and crossed the Jordan at dawn. Philip wanted to go home to see his family but Jesus asked him to stay and come with him to Caesarea.
Judas declared Jesus was a fool for wanting to go to Caesarea which sparked another scene with the Master and much condemnation of Judas by the apostles who decided he was mad.
Monday, June 11, 29 AD. Valtorta 4.421. Judas went off to see a friend at Megiddo. Jesus overheard the apostles discuss the Iscariot and launched into teaching on mercy – there is no limit to love or mercy and no one without fault, we must forgive to be forgiven.
Jesus described himself as the great beggar – give me souls, he pleaded.
They taught for days in northern Samaria.
Wednesday, June 13, 20 AD. Valtorta 4.422. Admiring the Mediterranean seascape, the apostles ask Jesus if his sacrifice will blunt the arrows of evil. Jesus says never, evil will always think it is winning. He talks of final victory and promises they will be with him, even those who have forgotten they were in penitential longing for love in purgatory,
Thursday, June 14, 29 AD. Valtorta 4.423. In the Hebrew market and Roman section Caesarea we overhear Romans horrified by stories of orgies being frowned on in certain Roman quarters due to the influence of the Galilean Rabbi.
This did not dampen the lewd expectations of some Romans preparing a lavish banquet to be followed by an orgy. That evening’s host had bought a young female virgin slave for 20,000 sesteres or 200 gold coins and was relishing the prospect of her delights.
Jesus talks to some slaves, some of whom tell them that his teaching had made their lives better. They belonged to Jesus’ Roman friends.
Jesus told a story about a father with many sons who had given each of them identical funds- two coins- and were now called to account. Those who did badly or lost their capital were scolded for not asking their father’s advice when they got into difficulties. Those who blamed and even cursed their father for the difficulties were driven away. Those who did well and sought and acted on his advice were suitably rewarded.
Jesus then went on to explain that the coins were time and free will. Everyone has them to use as they wish. If you fail, repent and have faith in your merciful father.
Later Jesus is joined in his appalling dockside accommodation by disguised Roman ladies. They came to seek reassurance that Jesus was not setting himself up as King. Jesus says his kingdom is a purely spiritual one of souls. Bodies he leaves to worldly kingdoms.
He is asked about prophets and then about the great Roman Virgil whom Jesus praises and calls a pre-Christian prophet.
Jesus sends a message to Claudia which results in another visit of Roman ladies that night in great secrecy.
Friday, June 15, 29 AD. Valtorta 4.424. Claudia had managed to barter the young slave from the clutches of her owner using her influence on Pilate and much alcohol.
Jesus took the girl, Aura Gala, and long before dawn had to get her away from Caesarea before her former owner or Pilate could change their minds.
Editor: In this vision we note the complete acceptance of slavery in the culture. The apostles, Romans and ordinary people totally believe that a slave is the property of his or her master to do with what he or she likes.
It seems that Aura Gala’s high cost was due to her having been kept out of sunlight so that she was completely white and a virgin barely at puberty. She was aged about 13 and was absolutely terrified of her new master. She had been taken from her parents at the age of five.
Saturday, June 16, 29 AD. Valtorta 4.426. Jesus and group leave Ceaserea in great haste and stop on the estate of a Pharisee, Johanan, who was no longer enthused by Jesus.
Lunching in a glade overlooking the lush Esdrolen valley one of the disciples detailed the great care needed to grow grapes so that the harvest could pay for the land and give a profit to live on. Jesus was asked for a parable and said you have just heard one! But he gave another.
Sunday, June 17. Jesus sends the others to the Sea of Galilee. Jesus took Aura Gala to Nazareth and left her in the care of his mother while he arranged a permanent situation for her. Jesus asked for great secrecy and obviously made sure Judas Iscariot knew nothing about it. Only the Judeans Thomas and Simon Zealot accompanied Jesus to his mother’s house.
June 18 – July 5, 29 AD. Valtorta 4.432. At Nazareth. Jesus fixed some furniture, using Joseph’s tools, paint and glue. Thomas makes and repairs some ornaments and Simon Zealot paints a ladder but asks Jesus to teach him how to do it professionally. This inspires a parable on preparation, repair and completion of a job.
A thet approach of the Sabbath we see everyone tidying away their tools, Mary her loom. They spend the Sabbath in kindly conversations. We hear Jesus’ mother briefing Aura in the stories from scripture. Aura says she likes the female heroines and the story of Tobias but says she does not like the God who kills.
Jesus explains about severe love is still love. Death is often to save someone from sin.
The apostles ask why Mary has not told Aura about Jesus’ birth. Mary says she needs to know the past to understand the future.
Aura asks about the present and wants to hear of Jesus’ birth since his conception, Jesus refers to the death of the innocents who would not be guilty of his death which provokes a horrified reaction from his aunt who accuses him of piercing his mother’s heart. Mary tells them that the sword has been in her heart for 32 years.
But you are so serene, always the same since you came to Nazareth says her sister-in-law. Mary replies she is first a daughter and a servant of God.
My serenity comes from doing the will of God. She shudders at the thought of the promised hour and says the Father will succour us, only He can.
The silence is deafening. Aura is the first to move, talk, kneeling she embraces Mary whom she calls the mother of my God.
Mary decides to ease the pain and tells the story of the night of the nativity.
June 24-30, 29 AD. Valtorta 4.435. Jesus and Mary converse in the garden of an evening. They speak of Jesus’ cousins and the ones who have not accepted him for who he is or are somewhat uncertain about him. Jesus talks of obstinate faith and how difficult it is for the more learned part of Israel to accept him. He says that mankind reduced the principles of the decalogue from the supernatural to the purely natural.
The very concept of the Messiah has been reduced to a natural king. The faith of the Jews works against true faith. He says his two most learned apostles, Bartholomew and the Iscariot, find it most difficult.
Jesus shows that he picked up the references to Judas’s doings in Tiberias and how Mathew who was experienced in that life had wondered how Judas could afford that life (editor: this may be a suggestion that Judas was in the pay of the Sanhedrin).
Jesus suggests it would have been better to call the Kingdom of Christ, rather than the kingdom of Israel.
